M.P's to Represent the people

Additional Information

The idea that we vote members of parliament to represent the views of the people is nonsense at the moment, and they say you vote us in to use our discretionary intelligence to vote on your behalf. This is not true democracy, and is left open to all sorts of abuses and trade offs. All Manifestos, the document that allows us to decide who we want to lead this great nation should, by law, once the government is voted in be adhered to. Especially when certain promises contained in the Manifesto, are relevant to our country and our people, and probably won the party the election.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
