Parliament to pass a vote of no confidence in Theresa May as Prime Minister

Petition Details

Theresa May has ordered UK armed forces to attack Syria - just before UN weapons inspectors are about to confirm or deny there was a chemical weapons attack - risking World War 3. She is a danger to humanity and should be replaced immediately.

Additional Information

Brexit talks are floundering, news of chaos the Tories have caused in the NHS, housing, criminal justice, transport, etc reverberates around social media just before a local election, and yet more links between the Conservatives and Cambridge Analytica suggesting criminal activity are emerging ...

So what does the Tory Prime Minister do? Attack a foreign power, of course – because she’s more interested in saving her job than any risk of starting World War 3.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.

We used to accept petitions that called for a vote of no confidence. However, the Petitions Committee can’t schedule votes of no confidence. This was often frustrating and disappointing for petitioners. Petitions calling for action on policy are more likely to be an effective way of achieving the change you want.
