Put in place law that makes it an offence to bypass NOX emission standards
SAVE 23,000 UK LIVES P.A.FROM NOX POISONING CAUSED BY EMISSION CHEATING TRUCKERS
AS REVEALED THIS EVENING ON CH 4 DESPATCHES TODAY, OUR GOVERNMENT IS QUITE HAPPY TO SACRIFICE 23,000 LIVES A YEAR IN SPITE OF KNOWING ABOUT DIESELGATE.
THIS IS SCANDALOUS.
THERE IS THE TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE NOW TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM. IT IS ROLLING ROADS WHICH ARE EXPENSIVE AT £100K PER PIECE, BUT 23,000 LIVES ARE WORTH FAR MORE THAN THE £10M THAT IT WOULD COST FOR 100 MACHINES, WHICH IN ANY CASE COULD BE CHARGED TO THE INDUSTRY.
WHY ARE WE PREPARED TO ACCEPT THE HIGHEST NOX LEVELS IN EUROPE?
ANY OPERATOR CAUGHT ATTEMPTING TO CIRCUMNAVIGATE EMISSION STANDARDS SHOULD HAVE HIS OPERATOR LICENSE RESCINDED IMMEDIATELY.
