Require all toll bridges to treat disabled people equally
The Government must require parity for all disabled people to use toll bridges and roads for free, not just those on Disability Living Allowance. For example, I’m disabled but too old to qualify for disability living allowance which means I can’t use the Dartford river crossing for free.
As a blue badge holder I can go through London without paying the congestion charge surely it should be the same using the Dartford river crossing. This is free for people who receive Disability Living Allowance and has an exemption from paying vehicle tax as a result. However anyone in my position is still required to pay due to being too old to apply for Disability Living Allowance.
