Crack down on allergy bullying and give police the power to tackle the problem
People suffering with allergy and anaphylaxis frequently have to deal with threatening behaviour/bullying, e.g. nut throwing. It may not be malicious and can be due to lack of education but causes huge anxiety for people and puts them in serious danger which could even be life-threatening.
The Peter Rabbit film highlighted the need to take allergy bullying seriously. Safer Eating, know lots of children have been victims. Parents have taken it to the police to be told it’s school’s responsibility. If a child was threatened with a weapon, police would act. Allergens can also be deadly. We aim to
1) Spread awareness
2) Help the UK government and police record incidents to grasp the scale of the issue
3) Ensure they have the necessary power, guidelines and education to deal with it

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about allergy bullying, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do to tackle it.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
