Petition Action

No Increase of Speed limit on motorways until drivers act more responsibly

Additional Information

Keep a safe distance Minimum of 2 Seconds in good and 4 Seconds in poor weather conditions,Police existing speed limits more rigorously in the interest of safety for all .
.
This weekends (4-11-11) terrible crash (not accident) on the M5 motorway involving 32 vehicles,7 deaths,50 injured & dozens of emergency response personnel, should be sufficient evidence NOT TO INCREASE MOTORWAY SPEED LIMIT TO 80MPH. SPEED ONLY MAKES CRASHES MORE SERIOUS.
