Stop the DVLA from selling my information
For far too long now the law has been abused by disreputable companies, it should never have been allowed that they could access private information to hound people unfairly, it’s called private for a reason, so we wish the law to be revoked that allows anybody bar government agencies this access.
over 19000 records a day are being accessed and this has to stop, car owners are not cash cows but this law allows anybody to milk the system fairly or otherwise and the protections supposedly set up to look after the public are totally inadequate and worthless. The figures are based on 2016 freedom of information and have risen much higher since then
