I am A New Zealander living in the UK on A tier 5 youth Mobility Visa,
wanting to stay in the UK and obtain a Tier 2 general Visa (as I am 3rd generation this is my only option) This Requires Sponsorship from and employer, and you must earn £30,000 a year, which is very difficult to obtain.

Additional Information

Reduce the Sponsorship Requirements, Salary requirement and open up more employment industries so it is no so restricted to, For Example, Medicine and IT, and allow other industries to be eligible.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about immigration requirements for people from New Zealand and Australia who want to come to the UK, but we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to see.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
