Ensure money raised from new sugar levy is divided between education and the NHS
The Government recently introduced the sugar levy on soft drinks to try and tackle the growing problem of obesity in the UK. The legislation doesn’t specify where the money raised should be spent.
We would like legislation created to ensure that any money raised is given to the NHS and to education
The levy on soft drinks is expected to raise over £274 million pounds which could be used to help fund the struggling NHS budget and also fund sport activities for school children.
