Allow a terminally ill child to receive treatment in a foreign country.
A parent must be able to seek medical treatment in a foreign country for their child, if the treatment is not available within the UK and/or medical staff within the UK no longer believe they can treat the child. It should not be the decision of a court but the decision of the child's parents.
If a child is on a end of life care plan, the parents should be able to transfer the child to a country of their choosing to seek further medical assistance, if that medical assistance is not available within the UK as long as reasonable precautions are put in place, to carry on with the end of life treatment during transit to the new medical facility.
