'Justice Minister' to respond to 'The Secret Barrister' in Parliament

Petition Details

The UK's Criminal Justice System is failing. It is depriving the innocent of their liberty and allowing the guilty to go free. Urgent remedy is required at the level of the government and media to make the issues known and investigate.

Additional Information

Recently published book 'The Secret Barrister' gives us "stories of the law and how its broken".

It shows us a great deal about the current state of affairs.

Published in 2018 by Macmillan, it is a damning exposé of how the inner workings of the system are affecting and ruining lives.

This is information the public should be fully informed of before having further lives ruined unfairly.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a petition asking for the Secretary of State for Justice to make a statement on a specific issue.
