STOP The sale of Wembley Stadium by the Football Association.
STOP The sale of Wembley Stadium by the Football Association.
It must remain owned by the FA and prioritise the national game above all else.
Fulham's billionaire owner Shahid Khan says he hopes a deal to buy Wembley Stadium from the Football Association will be completed in eight to 12 weeks.
This has been rushed through with the buzz phrase of money for grass roots football being used to blindside the general public and football supporters community.
This sale is not in the interest of the national game. This sale must not happen and Wembley Stadium should remain property of the FA and prioritise the national game.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Any decision about selling Wembley Stadium is the responsibility of the Football Association, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could contact the FA directly about this issue:
http://www.thefa.com/about-football-association/contact-us
You could start a new petition to ask the UK Government to urge the FA not to sell Wembley Stadium.
