Theresa May to follow Rudd and step down in the wake of the Windrush scandal
Those arriving in the UK between 1948 and 1971 from the Caribbean have been labelled the Windrush generation The Home Office did not keep a record of those granted leave to remain or issue any paperwork confirming it, making it difficult for Windrush arrivals to prove they are in the UK legally.
Amber Rudd stepped down on 29 April, given that Theresa May spent a significant amount of time as home sec, she too, should also be held accountable for the scandal, and follow Rudd to step down.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The resignation of an MP/Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
