Revise the visa rules for UK cross-border couples. End extortionate visa fees.

Petition Details

The government's 'hostile environment' is damaging the lives of British Citizens with husbands and wives from overseas.
The stringent requirements separate young children from parents. Those who pass face HUGE fees, both to bring a spouse to the UK, AND to keep them here. Stop breaking families up!

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about visa rules and fees, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
