Impose a tax of 20% on ticket profits from Premier League matches.
We want the government to impose a 20% tax on profits made by clubs through ticket sales as well as imposing a £25 cap on home ticket prices.
We want this money gained through this tax to go back into local communities to fund grassroots projects.
The corporate greed of the owners of Premier League clubs, creating an elitist group at the top of the footballing pyramid. Only allowing the richest to afford games through charging extortionate prices upwards of £95 for a standard seat.
One sell out game at Old Trafford, with our tax and ticket cap imposed, will produce upwards of £375,000 of funding for grassroots projects.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you want a tax on Premier League sales revenue or a cap on Premier League football match tickets.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
