Force the Football Association to remove the owner of Manchester City FC
The English Football Association has an action plan to involve more lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Yet the champions of our country, Manchester City, have an owner who is part of a government that still enforces a law that makes homosexuality illegal.
Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the owner of the Abu Dhabi United Group, a company that purchased Manchester City in 2008. He is also the current Deputy Prime Minister of The United Arab Emirates, a country that states any sexual relations outside of heterosexual marriage is a crime.
This law is in direct contrast to the FA's and Premier League's views on LGBT rights.
