Force the Government to reveal Home Office documents on the Windrush migrants
The Government has just voted against revealing the Home Office documents regarding the Windrush migrant scandal. A clear sign of a cover up!
This is unacceptable and we the public deserve to know who is responsible for this deplorable act.
MPs have voted against an opposition motion calling on the government to disclose papers on Windrush migrants.
They arrived between the late 1940s and 1970s but some have been threatened with deportation in recent years.
The government won the vote by 316 votes to 221.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure exactly what documents you'd like the Government to release. You could start a new petition asking the Government to release the documents listed in the motion debated on the recent Opposition Day, if that's what you'd like to happen.
