Petition Action

Introduce legislation to prohibit the media advertising towards children under 12

Additional Information

Most of europe has already adopted a ban on media advertising aimed at chidlren under 12. Media advertising is aimed at children portraying that their product is cool or popular raising our children to either be materialistic or feel inadequate as they cannot have these items that their peers have.

This petition is to secure a debate to introduce the prohibitation of media advertising at under 12s to better our childrens values and relieve the pressure that parents experience when children are innocently taken by the adverts they see.
