Ban halal slaughter and the sale of halal food in the UK.
Halal slaughter requires an animal to be conscious at the time it’s throat is slit and it’s blood drained from its body. It causes distress and suffering for the animal and is a totally unacceptable practice is a civilised culture. Animals should not be made to suffer for the sake of religion.
