referendum to dissolve the House of Lords
As an unelected law making institution, operating in a democratic environment, there is no recourse to anyone, particularly the citizens of the UK, regarding their decisions.
And the cost to the taxpayer, is unacceptable.
Ask the electorate if they want a 2nd "scrutiny" tier, then should it be elected by a national elective system by the UK citizens, rather than an honorary one?
