Make it a fineable offence to leave litter on our beaches (and surrounds).
Hundreds of thousands of tourists flock to Bournemouth to enjoy the beautiful beaches. However most of those people don’t clear away their litter leaving the beaches in a horrendous state. Most gets washed into the sea, the rest has to be picked up by volunteers. We want on-the-spot fines!
We want patrollers issuing on-the-spot fines for people leaving their litter behind and bigger/better bin facilities for those wanting to clear their litter.
