Use MPs expenses to make London great & safe again
Since the beginning of the year 60 young people have lost their lives to knife and gun crime and the government have done nothing to really address the violence on our streets. We need to take action now to protect our children and community.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you're concerned about knife and gun crime in London, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for MPs' expenses. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government to provide more funding to tackle knife and gun crime in London, if that's what you'd like to happen.
