Adult incontinence products
Many sick people who suffer from incontinence are not provided with enough or even suitable incontinence products for their needs
for example my mum was only allowed 3 pads per day (how many times do you go to the loo, more than three times a day I bet) and the highest absorbency allowed for mum couldnt cope with one average wee
I also had to choose between pads or bedpads for mum she needed both but was not allowed
cost is the reason and I dont think this is right
sick people should be provided with what they need not only to maintain their dignity but to help prevent pressure sores/skin breakdown and help those of us who look after our loved ones
its not right that people are expected to spend hours in wet/soiled pads ect.
