Petition Action

Repeal the firearms act since 1903.

Petition Details

The UK needs a method of self defense. More guns means less crime. The Telegraph in 2003 admitted gun crime was doubled since Dunblane. If we repeal the Firearms act and decrease the millitarisation of the police, less crime would happen because the UK will have proper training to defend.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about the laws on firearms, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the law to be. We're also not sure what you mean by "decrease the millitarisation of the police".

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
