This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. Both the House of Commons and House of Lords already have Codes of Conduct for their Members. Members are already required to register and declare financial interests, so we're not sure what action you'd like to see.

You can find the Code of Conduct for the House of Commons here:

www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/standards-and-financial-interests/parliamentary-commissioner-for-standards/code-of-conduct-and-rules-of-the-house/

You can find the Code of Conduct for the House of Lords here:

http://www.parliament.uk/business/lords/whos-in-the-house-of-lords/house-of-lords-members-conduct/#jump-link-0

You can find the Civil Service Code here:

www.gov.uk/government/publications/civil-service-code/the-civil-service-code

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
