Free vote in E-petition debates
The government should be obliged to ensure that: Any E-petition which meets the criteria for a debate in the house should be followed by a free vote.
Any such debate is, in effect, at the direct request of the public. Following such a debate MPs should be free to vote according to their conscience and what they believe to be the wishes of their constituents.
