Restrict the marketing and promotion of ‘skinny’ quick-fix, laxative products.
Social media is inundated with ‘skinny’ teas, with laxative ingredients. These companies are selling an unrealistic and damaging ideal to their audience. Products containing laxative ingredients have been proven to have serious medical consequences.
Companies that sell these products should be forced to inform their customers of all possible side effects, and true reflections of the results, rather than promoting an image of a figure that was not created by using their products alone.
