Petition Action

To hold an independence referendum in England and Wales if Scotland chooses independence lite.

Additional Information

When Scotland holds a referendum it will get three choices full independence, independence lite and the status quo. The first and last are self explanatory. However, it independence lite, it would mean Scotland keeps all it tax revenue, whilst England has to pay for its defence. This is because the UK would still have reponsibility for defence and foreign affairs but does not want to pay taxation for its up keep.
