I believe that the ombudsman service just has not got the ability to handle complaints about financial services. There is evidence in the media and on online review services like trustpilot.

Additional Information

I would like the government to consider replacing the financial ombudsman service with a publicly funded organisation that is not funded by, or affiliated with, the banks and other financial services.
