Simplify the child tax credit system with HMRC
In 2016,it was found that in 2013,we missed one income box on the complicated form for child tax credits.Because of this,18 months later, HMRC wanted £6700 ponds from us in overpayments. This was set up to pay back £184/month until 2019!The HMRC say that we are again owing them £2500 overpayment
Can be given on request.
The CTC as it is, has the potential to put people into £1000's of debt through no fault of their own.
Speed up the complaints procedure.
SO BAYLIFFS CAN COME AND TAKE POSSESSIONS, BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY AGREE AND UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ACTUALLY OWE THE MONEY ! HOW CAN THIS BE RIGHT IN THE 21ST CENTURY??

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the child tax credit system, but
we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
