Allow students to listen to music in GCSE art 10 hour exam

Petition Details

The GCSE art exam is an exam which all together is 10 hours long but is split into two five hour sessions. we are expected to do this in silence, and we can’t even listen to music. Personally I perform more successfully and productively whilst listening to music, as I feel more focus and motivated.

Additional Information

“A series of experiments has investigated the relationship between the playing of background music during the performance of repetitive work and efficiency in performing such a task. The results give strong support to the contention that economic benefits can accure from the use of music in industry.”
