Additional Information

Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 19
December 10, 1948
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.
I disapprove with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it - sometimes attributed to Voltaire.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you mean by "Enact Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in its entirety".

You can find out more about UK law on freedom of expression here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
