Reduce the price of fuel by cutting the tax on fuel to 20%
UK petrol and diesel prices reached a three-year high in January, and are now more expensive than at any point since late 2014, figures have revealed.
some drivers having to make a choice between cutting back on household expenditure or being able to afford to drive to work.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. Tax on fuel is not set as a percentage of the cost of buying fuel, so we're not sure how you'd like tax on fuel to be changed.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking the UK Government and Parliament to cut all taxes on fuel to the minimum level allowed by the EU, if that's what you'd like to happen.
