Remove the hurtful and stereotyping LUSH Ltd SpyCops campaign adverts.
On the 1st of June 2018, LUSH Ltd started a campaign calling for an inquiry into the abuse conducted by undercover Police Officers.
LUSH Ltd have used advertisements for this campaign which clearly target ALL Police Officers throughout the UK, casting a stereotype of officers being liars.
This campaign has been widely advertised on social media, namely Facebook and Twitter with images showing general duty officers with the slanderous heading of "PAID TO LIE".
Whilst there has been numerous reports of a small minority of Police Officers that have been undercover being involved in gross misconduct, this is not replicated throughout the rest of the various forces to whom have dedicated and hard-working officers.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is the responsibility of Lush, not the UK Government or Parliament.
