Do away with Henry VIII Law in Parliament!
The Henry VIII Law was law done in parliament 500-600 years and it’s not been used for 300 years. But now the government has reintroduced it as a way of getting the UK out of the EU and I don’t think this is the best way forward in life.
It’s too old-fashioned, it’s out of date, we haven’t used it for a long time and it’s about time we used more modern legal system. So I now ask the government to do away with it completely.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You can find out more about Henry IIV clauses here:
www.parliament.uk/site-information/glossary/henry-viii-clauses/
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
