Petition Action

MPs should vote in favour of a motion of no confidence in the Government.

Additional Information

88. Clause 2 of the Bill provides for an early parliamentary general election to take place in two situations. First, where at least two thirds of MPs have voted in favour of a motion to that effect and, second, following the passing of a motion of no confidence in the Government. [Fixed Term Parliaments Bill - CHAPTER 4: Early Parliamentary general Elections]

The present government is bent on ruining the very fabric that makes Britain a proud welfare state. The Health Service is being privatised, and open to EU competition laws, pensions are at risk, jobs are at risk, unemployment is rising, crime will soon follow. Cuts are everywhere, and will destabilise society beyond repair. Act now.
