Save the NHS with a 1p in the pound increase in income tax/national insurance.
Our NHS is in crisis. Funding, although somewhat increased, has been outstripped by a need for additional services. With a 1p rise we could gain approx 11bn funding. We are lucky to get healthcare free at point of use. The equivalent private or insurance cost would exceed the tax increase
