Mandatory 5 year prison sentence for carrying a knife on the first offence

The streets of the United Kingdom have been lost to knife wielding thugs who suffer little or no consequence for their actions. Social media and local news is awash with videos and images of knives on our streets. The two strike rule has failed. A mandatory 5 year sentence must be enforced for all.
