Save the wildlife of Burnside Lakes Cambridge
Cambridge City Council and the Anderson Group who own the land are proposing to open up the land to the public for leisure and recreational purposes.
The site is home to many breeding birds such as a large colony of kingfishers, green sandpipers, bullfinches & numerous other birds. The site is also home to many mammals, reptiles, amphibians and aquatic animals including different species of bats, deer, newts, snakes etc.
