Equality for gay men giving blood

Petition Details

I was going to join the blood donation club today. I was feeling rather heroic knowing my blood would be used to help save lives. Because I am a gay man in a four-year relationship, I was told that I wouldn’t be eligible to donate.

Additional Information

I have to stay celibate for a minimum of 3 months in order to qualify.
