Proposed changes to public sector pensions
Before MPs finalise plans to change public sector pensions they should be willing to change their own pensions.
If proposed changes are fair, as ministers claim, they will have no issue with having the same pension arrangements as the people who pay their salaries and expenses.
The public sector will be much more likely to accept any changes to their pensions if they can see that MPs are happy to accept the changes themselves.
