Petition Action

The government must call an urgent General Election.

Petition Details

Divisions on all sides of the house are making Brexit negotiations impossible. MPs have varying views as to the type of Brexit that is truly representative of the will of the people.

Brexit will be the biggest change for the UK in decades and we must get it right.

Additional Information

The return of the EU Withdrawal Bill to the House of Commons has proved that the views of MPs vary too widely for them all to be truly representative of the will of the people.

A General Election is needed as a matter of urgency in order to ensure that parliament doesn't proceed with any further legislative change until voters have been given an opportunity to assess the varying views that are currently held across all sides of the house.
