Strip Sir Christopher Chope of his knighthood
Christopher Chope MP for Christchurch blocked a Bill to ban "Upskirting".
If passed, someone who takes a photo under a victim's skirt could face 2 years in prison.
The Bill had Government and all party support, but rules mean it only requires one MP to shout "object" to block its progress.
Christopher Chope MP has long record of blocking reform.
Some of his actions include:
● Opposing free parking at hospitals for carers.
● Opposing a pardon for Alan Turing
● Blocked protection for poor countries against “Vulture funds”
● Objected to a debate on the Hillsborough disaster
● Blocked action against revenge evictions of tenants
● Blocked a law to stop people who attack police dogs from claiming self defence
● Blocked a law to avoid the excessive force in mental health units
