Reform parliamentary process to prevent blocking with objections & filibustering
The current process allows a single MP to block a bill through the use of an objection or filibustering. This does not support a democratic parliamentary process, which is meant to represent the views of the people. It is essential that parliamentary process is changed in order to prevent this.
Whilst these two MP's are not alone between them they have blocked numerous pieces of legislation. Sir Chope's recent block of the Voyerism (upskirting) bill is only one of several - further details http://www.itv.com/news/2018-06-15/sir-christopher-chope-mp-object-private-members-bill/
MP Davies has filibustered numerous bills including; make homes fit for human habitation - further details https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/philip-davies-filibuster-domestic-violence-a7479266.html
