Parliament to set aside time to debate the rules whereby MPs put forward bills
Following the wrecking of two bills which had received extensive scrutiny by departments, and were supported by ministers, by a single MP calling "object" on a Friday afternoon, time should be set aside by Parliament to consider and amend the rules whereby MPs can introduce bills to the House.
A single MP is currently able to wreck private members' bills by talking them out, or objecting.
