To be honest & truthful & to take decisions in the National interest always.
We call upon all MPs to behave responsibly, as their electorate expects. This means always putting the National interest first, ahead of any personal or party gain. It also entails being honest and truthful in all communications and strict penalties to be imposed where serious violations occur.
During the current important Brexit negotiations, it is clear that some MPs and parties’ standards of behaviour have fallen alarmingly short of what the electorate expects. It is simply not acceptable and totally irresponsible for MPs to knowingly mislead and lie to the public for their own self-interest and worse, not to face any repercussions for their actions. MPs should always behave honourably and the National interest should always be paramount in their minds.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
A code of conduct already exists for MPs, which covers honesty and integrity, so we are not sure what else you would like Parliament or the Government to do.
You can read more about the Code of Conduct for MPs here: publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm/cmcode.htm
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking for a new independent investigative body, with the power to impose sanctions, if that's what you would like to happen.
