Proposes cap on cost of Residents Parking Permits.

Additional Information

That an amendment is made to the Road Trafic Act 2004 so that all councils are required to supply the first parking permit for a household without charge of any kind. Permits for subsequent vehicles should not be charged over £50. Visitors passes should also not be charged over £50 and should be for an unlimited time period. Those over 60 should not have to pay for visitors passes or the 1st household pass to enable family visits and visits for carers and medical staff. Passes should be free for those with mobility vehicles and those requiring daily carer visits.
