We are looking for the government to reevaluate the lack of funding for the arts
Many higher/lower class family’s struggle to pay for performing arts school tuition fees. These fees are shockingly high and there is very little available help for them.
We want to make it more accessible for lower class and middle class students who wish to have a career in the arts industry.
Student loans company’s will not cover full tuition fees, there is no other additional funding options out there. There are charities and foundations for PA but after sending out over 100 letters and emails to trusts and business I found out that little people are interested in funding individuals or putting money towards tuitions fees as they would rather help out with amateur productions or community clubs. With low wages it is impossible for students to work enough to afford it without this.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about arts funding and tuition fees, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
