Cancel Trumps UK visit until all the separated families have been reunited
President Trump is due to visit the UK next month. Meanwhile, over 2000 babies and children are being kept in cages in Texas, crying for their families with no proper care.
We cannot welcome a leader that shows such disregard for the basic human rights of these children!
Children are in cages, under lights 24 hours a day with only a foil blanket for comfort. Some children are still in nappies, others still breastfed, yet pulled away and kept in cages away from their parents. There is no counselling, kids are looking after other kids while dealing with their own trauma. All families need to be reunited before we can contemplate hosting President Trump. We simply cannot do business while these human right abuses continue.
