Vehicle theory test to include section on motorcycle awareness on the road
Please help change our vehical theory test in scotland! To include a mandatory section on how drivers and motorcycle riders can look out for each other on the road. So we can prevent a very high amount of Accidents regarding road users.
20% of all accidents on Scotland's non-build up roads involve motorbikes. Approximately 60% of all motorcycle fatlities in scotland occur on these carriageways. In 2017 their were 827 motorcycle accidents 34 were fatal. Not a single cause of motorbike accidents in 2017 were caused by flooded/icy road coditions. 50% of motorbike accidents in Scotland were 30mph or less! Riders are 40 times more likely to be KILLED than any other road user. We can change this! Please sign this petition.
